COVID-19, or coronavirus, is a viral respiratory infection that is spread through close contact with other people and/or respiratory droplets from sneezing or coughing. The virus can live on certain surfaces for up to 3 days. Symptoms include fever, body aches, headache, shortness of breath, and cough. Symptoms can occur between 2-14 days after exposure.
There is currently no vaccine or treatment for the illness. The best way to protect yourself and your family is to stay home, wash your hands often, cough/sneeze into your elbow, and avoid touching your face. If you must go out, try to maintain a distance of 6 feet from other people.

It’s hard to not be anxious right now, but one of the best things you can do for your children is to try to remain calm and keep some sort of routine. This is a great time to tell stories, play board games, and watch movies. Get some outside time in your yard if you are able to do so safely.
