Wren Deavers, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1999. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004. She returned to UTHSCSA to complete her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2014. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau honor society of nursing.
Wren has over twenty years of pediatric nursing experience including working as a RN at the Children’s Hospital of Austin, treating children as a PNP in various clinics throughout Williamson County, and teaching pediatrics and other graduate courses at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, and Texas State University. She especially loves teaching families during her clinic encounters with the children she treats.
Wren and her husband are parents to two children. Their son has Down Syndrome which has helped Wren understand the medical and psychosocial needs of exceptional children and their families. In her spare time, Wren enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, knitting, and especially rooting for her daughter’s volleyball team.
